Mechanised Planting

Mechanised Planting

Conscious of our responsibility with regards to sustainable development and adapting to new environmental directives, the company Verver Export are breaking new ground and propose the concept of bulb naturalising.

A NEW YEAR, A NEW AREA
For greater success with our plants, you should think in terms of areas or photo zones favouring a concentration of plants (100m2 minimum) rather than dotting our plants throughout the whole town.

PROGRESSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE
Our blooms are considered progressive for two main reasons:
They become denser as the season progresses so that they are at their best in the later stages of flowering.

They multiply year upon year as a result of naturalising. The number of narcissi, crocuses, muscari and even certain varieties of tulip can increase by two or three in just a few years. In addition, the durability of certain combinations has given this technique a genuine image of sustainability.

THE WAITING GAME:
"EVERYTHING COMES TO HE WHO WAITS"
This quotation relates perfectly to mechanisation as you have to be patient in order to achieve and admire optimal blooms. Certain combinations reach their full effect 4 to 6 weeks after the flowering begins (Narcissus Kit, ‘Annecy-le-Vieux’ Kit, Tapetta ‘Primabella’ etc.) Others will be at their best during the second year, as the early-flowering will be respected and multiplication will have increased.

MAKE SAVINGS
Easy to implement, reduced maintenance and low costs per m2 thanks to their durability, our blooms are an economical and aesthetic alternative.

AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION
Because we are offering an aesthetic solution within the context of the re-vegetation of verges, we are encouraging the acceptance of leaving mowing until later. In addition, this technique is a genuine alternative to classic maintenance methods (chemical control or regular mowing).
