Autumn
Spring-flowering bulbs
Spring-flowering bulbs come from all over the world. They do have one thing in common, however: the bulbs are more or less hardy. Spring-flowering bulbs provide a great range of colours, heights and flowering periods. So let your imagination run wild.
These bulbs must be planted in autumn as they require a cold period (soil temperature of <9º C) of several weeks so as to be able to flower in spring. The earlier the bulbs are planted, the earlier they will develop roots and buds. The only rule that must be followed is that spring bulbs must be planted before the first frosts.
Spring-flowering bulbs will look perfectly at home in perennial plant borders, form magnificent spring-flowering flower beds and planters or enrich your verges and parks for years.
