Bulbs transformation at Floriade
By the time of the Ice Saints it was time for the flower bulbs transformation at the Verver Export garden at Floriade. The biannuals and the spring-flowering bulbs have been replaced by a nice selection of summer bulbs that bloom throughout the summer. Think of dahlias, lilies, Ornithogalum, Eucomis - all in the colors white-pink-purple. So for the moment, the permanent planting steals the show ... Beautiful flowering Geraniums and Hesperis endure the Dutch wind and cold temperatures of the May month.
Not only the Verver Export garden is being made ‘summer ready’. During this period, the entire park is being provided with the new flower bulb presentation for the summer.
